Service Description

This training is designed for clinicians seeking to deepen their understanding and application of trauma-informed care. Participants will explore culturally competent approaches to discussing trauma with clients and will gain confidence in assessing for trauma and dissociation. The session will also cover evidence-based interventions such as CPT and TF-CBT, equipping clinicians with practical tools for psychoeducation and treatment planning. This training is great for anyone who already has a foundational understanding of trauma and wants to expand their skill set! Training Objectives: By the end of this training, participants will be able to: Demonstrate a stronger understanding of trauma-informed care principles, including how to integrate cultural competence into clinical practice. Confidently assess trauma and dissociation using tools such as the DES and PTSD scales. Apply core concepts of CPT and TF-CBT to clinical work and effectively deliver psychoeducation on trauma to clients.
