This in-depth training is designed for clinicians seeking to enhance their ability to identify and treat depressive symptoms in clients across various stages of life. From children and adolescents to adults, participants will explore a wide range of evidence-based interventions that are tailored to meet the specific needs of each age group. The course will cover important considerations for assessing depression at different life stages, helping clinicians recognize unique symptom presentations and triggers. Participants will gain practical skills drawn from multiple therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and more, equipping them with a diverse set of tools to address depression in an effective, client-centered way. By the end of the training, clinicians will have a robust understanding of how to adapt interventions to fit the developmental, emotional, and psychological needs of clients, ensuring a holistic and tailored approach to treatment. Training Objectives: 1. Review signs and symptoms for depression across the lifespan 2. Learn developmentally appropriate interventions and approaches for supporting depressive symptoms across the lifespan 3. Detail-oriented and adaptable, she communicates effectively, collaborates as a team player, and applies a client-centered approach to achieve meaningful therapeutic outcomes.
