Ella Sadowski, LSW, MSW
Therapist
Hi there! I am so happy you are here. Taking the step to find a therapist and learn more about therapy can be hard, and I am so grateful you've taken the time to learn more about me and my approach. As a therapist, I believe in creating a space where you feel heard, seen and supported as you build the skills to navigate the challenges or experiences you may be facing. My goal is to support you in building on your inner strengths and creating a meaningful change in a way that feels right for you.
I approach therapy with warmth, humor, and authenticity, creating an environment where you can feel safe to be yourself, and grow in a way that feels genuine to you. My goal is to create a therapeutic relationship that feels warm, encouraging, and empowering. I look forward to an opportunity to learn more about you and build a space that is grounded in understanding, growth, and supports you as you move through life's challenges.
I have experience throughout the Chicago area as a case manager, connecting individuals and families to community resources and providing hands-on mental health support. I gained an important understanding of how external and social factors impact our emotional well-being. My background also includes experience as a pediatric social worker, providing therapy to children to strengthen their emotional regulation, manage anxiety, build executive functioning skills, and improve social skills. I have experience working with neurodivergent individuals and I celebrate neurodiversity, creating a validating, and strengths-based environment that values each person's individuality. I worked closely with families to improve communication, provide education and strategies and ensure well-rounded support. Supporting families has been a large part of my work, and I believe that relationships are an integral part of one's growth.
