Michelle Moore, MSW, LCSW
Therapist
Hello! I’m so glad you’re here and considering taking this first step. Beginning therapy can feel overwhelming, whether you’re navigating stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel seen, heard, and accepted without judgment as you work through life’s challenges.
In our sessions, I aim to tailor my approach to each individual’s unique needs and foster a warm, collaborative environment where you feel comfortable exploring your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at your own pace. Drawing from my past clinical roles, I use my empirically based approaches and therapeutic skills and strive to support clients. Together, we’ll process difficult experiences, build resilience, strengthen confidence, and develop practical coping skills that support meaningful, lasting change. Whether it’s your first time in therapy or you’ve been on this path before, I feel honored to walk alongside you as we create pathways toward growth and healing through empirically based approaches and our therapeutic relationship.
While much of my work focuses on adults, I also have experience supporting within academic settings. When working with children, teens, or college students and academic settings, I am skilled in advocating for IEPs, 504 plans, school or college transitions, child and adolescent development needs, early intervention, and school accommodations, as well as advocating for the needs of students and their families.
Above all, I believe therapy is a collaborative and empowering process. Together, we’ll build on your strengths and work toward creating the changes that matter most to you!
