EMILY KIDD, Ed.S., LCPC, CEO
With over a decade of clinical practice, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals of all ages. My clinical expertise includes addressing anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity development, and relational concerns. I also specialize in working with couples, parents and family systems.
I am passionate about Women’s Health and hold specialized training in Perinatal Mental Health. I am dedicated to supporting clients as they navigate the transition to parenthood and other challenges often encountered during the pre- and postpartum period, including perinatal mood disorders, infertility, and loss.
I recognize the pivotal role that close relationships have on overall well-being. Within couples and family systems, I collaborate with clients to foster healthy relationships by strengthening emotional connection, communication, and conflict resolution.
Committed to cultural humility and ongoing learning, I acknowledge the profound impact that our social identities and environments have on our mental health. In my practice, I strive to create an inclusive and safe space in which clients can explore their cultural identity and values.
As a therapist, I am often inspired by the resiliency, vulnerability, humor and dedication my clients bring to sessions. With a strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship, I view therapy as an empowering and collaborative space.
