Hannah Dunne, MA, LCPC
As a human navigating an ever-changing world, it is my belief that we all hold knowledge, peace, and power within ourselves. However, I understand we do not always feel this way.
My clinical background is working with children, adolescents, and adults. I have worked with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, grief, interpersonal difficulties, self-esteem, parent support, and issues surrounding impulse control and self-regulation. Additionally, I have experience working with individuals experiencing past trauma and am passionate about working with and empowering the LGBTQ+ community.
As a therapist, my goal is to help every individual work towards honoring their authentic selves through integrating self-compassion, identifying existing strengths, creating positive support systems, and building the tools needed to create positive change in one’s life. I truly believe the client-counselor relationship is crucial to treatment success, and expressing empathy, genuineness, and unconditional positive regard at all times, is of utmost importance to me. I recognize that each therapy journey is unique, and I am honored to meet you wherever you are in that journey.
I use an integrative clinical approach rooted in Client Centered Therapy that utilizes evidence-based practices specific to meeting the needs of every client. My clinical approaches include:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- Trauma Informed Therapy
- Play Therapy
- Person Centered Therapy
- Strengths Based Therapy
- Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
- Solutions Focused Therapy
