Therapist

As your therapist, you can expect our work together to be based in curiosity, genuineness, and tailored to your unique needs. The space I provide for you in therapy is exactly that- yours. We will work together to determine what it is you need from therapy in order to grow, challenge yourself, and ultimately achieve the goals that you have set. My therapeutic style is results-driven, and therefore we will work to identify and implement the approaches that best support your goals. My innate drive toward curiosity makes this process feel  natural, and oftentimes allows us to uncover additional areas of growth that may be valuable to explore together.

In addition to being a therapist, I am also a yoga teacher, meaning I love to bring somatic and mindfulness based work into the therapeutic space utilizing meditation, movement, and breath work. This technique calms the nervous system and brings clients into the present moment, being an excellent tool not only for adults, but also for younger children and adolescents working to establish emotional and physical regulation.

I bring creativity into my sessions by incorporating approaches such as art, music, poetry, movement, games, books, and more. These creative outlets can help clients of all ages feel more comfortable expressing themselves, exploring their interests, and engaging in the therapeutic process in ways that feel natural and meaningful to them.

I have experience and enjoy working with clients across a wide range of ages, including children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. I am also passionate about working with families, utilizing family therapy to navigate familial challenges and life transitions. Additionally, I have experience with and welcome clients of all identities.

With a background in community mental health, university counseling centers, and private practice, I have experience in many areas including trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and attachment-related concerns.
