What Insurance Does AMK Counseling Accept?

Do You Accept Out-of-Network Insurance?
Yes. If your plan isn't BCBS PPO or Aetna, AMK Counseling can submit claims to most other insurance providers on your behalf as an out-of-network provider. Your insurer will reimburse you directly based on your out-of-network mental health benefits, which vary widely by plan.
We recommend calling the number on the back of your insurance card before your first appointment to ask two things:

This is all done on a recorded line so the conversation can be referenced back in case there is any discrepancy with coverage.

Self-Pay Rates
If you don't have insurance, prefer not to use it, or your plan isn't accepted, self-pay is available. Session rates range from $160-$185 per hour, depending on your treatment options and clinician.
We accept major credit cards and Zelle for payment. Any portion of a session not covered by insurance is the client's responsibility.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, clients who don't have insurance or who choose not to use their insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected costs before their first appointment. This estimate covers the cost of therapy sessions and any related services, and we'll provide it in writing at least one business day before your scheduled session, as required by law.
