Christina Horn, M.S.Ed., LPC

Therapist

Christina Horn brings over eight years of experience supporting all ages through periods of transition, growth, and change. She has worked as a school counselor and nonprofit leader, developing and delivering social-emotional learning (SEL) and academic readiness programs in both school-based and community settings. Her background includes direct counseling, program coordination, and curriculum development, giving her a holistic and flexible approach to care.

Before transitioning into counseling and nonprofit work, Christina was a high school English teacher and event planner- experiences that shaped her ability to connect authentically with people, communicate with clarity, and support individuals navigating complex transitions. Having lived and worked in diverse regions across the country, Christina brings a grounded understanding of adaptability, identity development, and the many ways change can show up across different life stages.

Christina’s therapeutic approach is relational, strengths-based, and developmentally responsive. She draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play-based therapy, and SEL practices to support clients in building self-awareness, emotional regulation, and practical coping skills. Whether working with children, young adults, or adults, she creates a collaborative space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to move forward with confidence.

Christina has also served as a college coach, supporting individuals through high school transitions, college access, and postsecondary planning. This experience deepens her work with teens and young adults navigating identity exploration, academic or career decisions, and major life transitions.
