Leah Underwood, MSW, LSW
Therapist
Whether you’re seeking support for yourself or your child, I believe meaningful therapy begins with feeling comfortable, understood, and supported. I’ll meet you where you are, help you draw on the strengths you already have, and work alongside you to build the confidence and tools to move through life’s challenges.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, stress, emotional regulation difficulties, low self-esteem, relationship and interpersonal concerns, life transitions, or simply feeling overwhelmed or stuck. My background includes several years of supporting children and families in school-based settings. With younger clients, I focus on making therapy feel approachable while helping them understand their emotions, build coping skills, and feel more confident in themselves. I also work closely with parents and caregivers so they feel supported in understanding and responding to their child’s needs. Across all ages, I adapt my approach to your goals and circumstances, helping you work toward changes that feel meaningful and sustainable.
Together, we’ll focus on what matters most to you, from building new skills to exploring patterns and making sense of difficult seasons. My hope is that you leave our work with greater understanding, new tools, and a sense of hope for what comes next.
