Liliana Damian, MSW, LSW
Therapist
As a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) and Latina therapist, I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel seen, heard, and understood. I'm especially passionate about creating affirming spaces for BIPOC, neurodivergent, and LGBTQIA+ individuals navigating identity, belonging, and cultural or familial expectations. I bring warmth, curiosity, authenticity, and a bit of humor into the therapy room, creating a welcoming environment where children, teens, and adults can safely explore their experiences.
My approach is relational, collaborative, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive, drawing from evidence-based practices tailored to each individual's unique experiences, strengths, and needs. Through my work in community mental health, academic settings, and domestic violence services, I've supported individuals from diverse backgrounds and provided bilingual services. I have experience supporting children, teens, young adults, and adults, navigating ADHD/ASD, anxiety, depression, academic and everyday stressors, relationships and family challenges, life transitions, and experiences shaped by migration, trauma, community violence, and intimate partner violence.
I recognize that our stories are shaped by relationships, cultural identities, generational experiences, and larger systemic influences. Together, we'll explore the stories you've inherited, the expectations you've carried, and the parts of yourself you're still discovering, creating space for greater self-understanding, self-compassion, and authenticity.
Aside from being a therapist, I'm an animal lover who enjoys spending time with my cats and dog, taking nature walks, and enjoying the city with friends!
