Anna Sexton, MSW, LCSW
Therapist
As a therapist, I strive to create a safe, compassionate, and supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. I recognize that seeking help—for yourself or a loved one—takes courage, and I am committed to building a warm, trusting therapeutic relationship as the foundation for meaningful growth and healing. Together, we will identify goals to work toward that reflect your unique strengths, experiences, and needs.
Being a licensed school social worker with experience in both public schools and therapeutic day school settings, I have supported countless children, adolescents, and families as they have navigated challenges both in and outside of the school environment. I have partnered with parents and caregivers to strengthen communication, develop effective supports, and create systems that promote success at home, at school, and in everyday life.
I work with individuals of all ages experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodivergence, executive functioning challenges, and social communication difficulties. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Strengths-Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Play Therapy to help clients build insight, develop methods of coping, and foster resilience. My approach is collaborative, and tailored to each individual, recognizing that no two people have the same experiences, hopes, or visions.
